Mark R. Nelson, LUTCF

Mark R. Nelson, LUTCF is the Agency Supervisor for the Jamestown Office and has been a Financial Representative with the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America and a Registered Representative with Park Avenue Securities in September of 1995.  He maintains licenses in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. 

Prior to joining Alliance Advisory Group he was in Retail Operations Management, and also served as Executive Director for the Downtown Jamestown Development Corporation. 

Mark is a graduate of Frewsburg Central School and Jamestown Community College; with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration.

Mark attained his Life Underwriters Training Coordinator Fellow (LUTCF) Designation in 2000.  He is active in the local National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA – Chautauqua Region). Mark served as President in 2001 – 2002 and is currently President Elect for the 2009 – 2010 Board of Directors. 

Active within the greater Chautauqua Region, Mark is the Chairman of the Town of Carroll Zoning Board of Appeals and also serves as a Fire Commissioner.  Mark is a member of the Carroll Lodge #1147 Free and Accepted Masons.  He also serves on the allocations committee for the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County.  He is a member of Zion Lutheran Church where he participates as a lector, usher and serves on the Evangelism and Social Ministry Committees. 

Mark is married to Tamara and they have three children, Andrew who is married and is an accountant, Kathryn who is a teacher and Kara who is a retail store manager.
